These Terms of Service govern your use of the The Business Stack website and your purchase, download, access, and use of products sold by The Business Stack.

By visiting our website, placing an order, or accessing a purchased product, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before using our website or purchasing a product.

1. Digital Products

The Business Stack sells digital products, which may include templates, workbooks, guides, documents, downloads, Canva templates, Notion templates, and other educational or business resources.

No physical product will be shipped unless a product listing specifically states otherwise.

Digital products may be delivered through:

  • A downloadable PDF or ZIP file

  • A link provided by email

  • A Canva template link

  • A Notion template link

  • Another digital delivery platform

You are responsible for providing a correct email address at checkout and for maintaining access to the devices, software, applications, and internet connection needed to access and use your purchase.

2. Product Information

We make reasonable efforts to describe each product accurately, including its contents, intended use, format, and any software or third-party platform requirements.

Product images, previews, mockups, examples, and demonstrations are provided for illustrative purposes. Colors, layouts, and formatting may appear differently depending on your device, browser, printer, software, or display settings.

You are responsible for reviewing the full product description and compatibility information before purchasing.

3. Orders and Payment

By placing an order, you confirm that:

  • The information you provide is accurate and complete

  • You are authorized to use the selected payment method

  • You agree to pay the listed price and any applicable taxes

  • You have reviewed the product description before completing your purchase

Prices may change at any time. A price change will not affect an order that has already been completed.

We reserve the right to refuse, limit, or cancel an order when we reasonably believe that an order is fraudulent, unauthorized, made in error, or violates these Terms.

4. Refunds and Cancellations

Due to the digital nature of our products, all sales are final.

We do not accept returns or exchanges, and we do not provide refunds, store credit, or cancellations after an order has been placed.

Customers receive access to digital products immediately or shortly after payment. For this reason, orders cannot be canceled once the purchase has been completed.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer protection laws.

5. License and Permitted Use

When you purchase a digital product from The Business Stack, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use that product for your own personal or business use.

Unless a product listing states otherwise, you may:

  • Download and save the purchased files for your own use

  • Customize editable fields, text, colors, images, and branding

  • Use completed proposals, contracts, invoices, or other documents within your own business

  • Send completed and customized documents to your own clients or prospective clients

  • Print copies for your own use

Your purchase does not transfer ownership of the product, design, template, written content, branding, graphics, or intellectual property to you.

6. Prohibited Use

You may not:

  • Resell, redistribute, share, sublicense, or give away the original product or template

  • Share template links, download links, files, or access credentials with another person

  • Upload purchased products to a shared drive, membership, marketplace, course, resource library, or file-sharing website

  • Claim the original template, design, written content, or product as your own creation

  • Copy or reproduce the product to create a competing template or digital product

  • Sell an edited or unedited version of the product

  • Include the original files as part of another product, service, bundle, course, or membership

  • Use the product for unlawful, fraudulent, misleading, or abusive purposes

  • Remove copyright notices or ownership information included with the product

You may send a finished, customized proposal, contract, invoice, or similar client-facing document to your own client. You may not send or distribute the blank or editable template for the client or another business to reuse.

Each purchase is licensed to one purchaser or one business unless the applicable product listing specifically provides a different license.

7. Canva, Notion, and Third-Party Platforms

Some products may require or provide access through third-party platforms, including Canva, Notion, Adobe, Shopify, Google Drive, electronic-signature services, payment processors, or PDF-editing software.

Your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms, privacy policies, subscriptions, features, and availability.

We do not own or control third-party platforms and cannot guarantee that:

  • A third-party platform will remain available

  • Features will remain unchanged

  • A free plan will continue to provide the same features

  • Your device or software will be compatible

  • A third-party platform will not experience interruptions or technical problems

You are responsible for creating any required third-party accounts and paying any third-party fees associated with your chosen software or service.

8. Template Customization

Our templates may contain instructions, examples, placeholders, sample language, and fields that must be reviewed and customized before use.

You are responsible for:

  • Replacing all placeholder information

  • Reviewing every page and field

  • Removing instructional text

  • Deleting sections that do not apply

  • Confirming names, dates, amounts, services, deadlines, and payment terms

  • Removing any notes or fields that should not be visible to your client

  • Exporting and reviewing the completed document before sending it

We are not responsible for errors, omissions, incomplete customization, visible instructional fields, incorrect client information, or any other issue caused by failing to review and complete a template properly.

9. Contracts and Legal Templates

Any contract, agreement, policy, proposal, or legal-style template sold or provided by The Business Stack is intended for general informational and organizational purposes only.

The Business Stack is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Purchasing or using a template does not create an attorney-client relationship.

Laws and business requirements vary by location, industry, service, and individual circumstances. You are responsible for reviewing the document and determining whether it is appropriate for your business.

You should have contracts, agreements, policies, and other legally significant documents reviewed by a qualified attorney in your jurisdiction before using them.

We do not guarantee that any template:

  • Is legally enforceable in your location

  • Includes every clause your business may require

  • Complies with the laws of every state, country, or industry

  • Will prevent a dispute, chargeback, claim, or legal action

  • Will produce a particular legal or business outcome

10. Educational and Business Disclaimer

Our products are provided for educational, informational, planning, and organizational purposes.

We do not guarantee any specific business, financial, legal, marketing, career, client, sales, or income result from using our products.

Your results depend on many factors outside our control, including your effort, decisions, experience, market, pricing, services, clients, industry, and implementation.

11. Intellectual Property

12. Access and Download Responsibility

You are responsible for downloading and securely storing your purchased files.

We may provide assistance when a valid customer experiences a technical access issue. However, we do not guarantee permanent or unlimited access to download links, third-party template links, or hosted files.

We recommend downloading and saving all purchased files promptly after purchase.

We may limit download attempts or suspend access when we reasonably believe that files or links are being shared, redistributed, or accessed in violation of these Terms.

13. Unauthorized Sharing and License Violations

If we determine that a purchased product, template link, or downloadable file has been shared, resold, redistributed, or used in violation of these Terms, we may revoke access without a refund.

We also reserve the right to pursue available remedies for copyright infringement, unauthorized distribution, or other misuse of our intellectual property.

14. Website Use

You agree not to use our website:

  • For any unlawful purpose

  • To violate another person’s rights

  • To submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information

  • To upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful technology
